At Animal Tech we pride ourselves in providing high quality, Australian made custom orthotic and prosthetic devices by qualified professionals.
Our streamlined service includes taking the cast (limb impression) and measurements, manufacture and fitting of the device, ensuring correct alignment, and function. Our service is inclusive of ongoing review of your pet’s custom made device by offering review appointments, adjustments and repairs.
We work with you and your vet to keep your pet mobile!
We work closely with Veterinary Clinics, Physiotherapist and rehabilitation technicians to provide a multidisciplinary approach to your pets care.
We require a referral from a veterinarian to confirm that a prosthesis or orthosis is appropriate for your animal. We offer clinical services (assessments, consultations) and manufacturing/fabrication of these custom Prostheses and Orthoses.
We use the most clinically appropriate technology for each client and quality is ensured by manufacturing all devices on site at our base in Shepparton.
The clinical role at Animal Tech is undertaken by an Orthotist/Prosthetist who holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Latrobe University. The Orthotist/Prosthetist at Animal Tech specialises in custom made Orthoses (braces) and Prostheses (artificial limb).
Animal Tech is located at the premises of Northern Victoria Orthotic and Prosthetic Service (NVOPS) in Shepparton, Victoria. Animal Tech provides mobile appointment options across Victoria and interstate.
